How close are 3D renders to the final result?

Bright room with plants and an area rug

Very close, when three things are right: accurate measurements, real materials and products, and lighting set like the real space. Layout, sizes and proportions can be exact. Colours and light come very close, but never perfectly, because real paint, stone and daylight vary.

What can be exact

  • Dimensions: walls, furniture and paths match the plan to the centimetre, if the measurements are right.
  • Layout: what fits and where.
  • Views: what you see from the entrance, the sofa or the window.
  • Proportions: how big the island looks in the kitchen, how high the ceiling feels.

What comes very close

  • Materials: wood, stone and fabric textures are modelled on real products, but natural materials vary from batch to batch.
  • Colours: screens show colour differently. A paint seen on a phone, a laptop and a wall won't look exactly the same.
  • Light: renders use physically based light, but real daylight changes with the hour, the season and the weather.

What makes renders less reliable

  • Wrong or missing measurements.
  • Generic furniture instead of the pieces you'll actually buy.
  • A very wide camera angle that makes rooms look bigger than they are.
  • Too much light or perfect styling that the real room won't have.

How we keep renders close to reality

  • We model the existing space from your measurements: walls, heights and column positions. In Tangier, we can take them on site.
  • We place sockets, switches and light fittings where they really are. Then we decide with you what stays and what moves.
  • We model lighting and materials as close as possible to the real space, with daylight from the real windows and the lamps you'll actually have.

Check samples in person

Before ordering, look at real samples of paint, tiles, wood and fabric in the room's light. The render tells you if the combination works; the sample confirms the exact shade.
